Our Mission

The Inclusive Wellness Project's goal is to help people maximize connection through the teaching of inclusive language practices specific to healthcare settings, addressing the marginalization of trainees in practices settings, and educating around microagressions of those with power and privilege who want to be more affirming. In short, we hope to increase awareness of self to others, foster knowledge about people and things we do not understand and develop skills to meet the needs of others different from ourselves. We believe all individuals deserve to feel affirmed and validated from their lived experience.
